Default Trans questions

New guy here. So I hit the gas on my duramax (full throttle) and pretty sure it limped. It locked up in fourth with no reverse. 1st time limping with 195k miles. So my question is will upgrading my clutches help my tranny keep from limping. I plan on turning my edge cts down to level 3 now too

I've been looking at some kits. I turned my programmer down to one actually and I'm being easy on it while I save my money. I'm stuck between sun coast and ppe though 😞
