Default C20 truck?

Hi everyone, please forgive me for being naive, I have zero experience with trucks and this is going to be my first truck purchased. I have a lance camper that needs a strong enough truck. From my understanding a Ford f250 or Chevy 2500 or stronger would be ideal. I have an option to purchase a 1986 Chevy c20 four wheel drive diesel and my question is do I consider a C20 like an f250 or 2500 truck? It also seems like a k20 would indicate 4 wheel drive. Thanks to everyone in advance with their responses

A C20 is a 2wd 3/4 ton truck, if it's a 4wd then it would be a K20, and yes an f250 and the later model 2500's are also considered 3/4 tons.
