Will a muffler kill turbo whistle on a 6.7 I've got a 15 with a sb intake fixing to be deleted and I'm looking towards a 3rd gen manifold with a 351cw cheetah turbo and I like the way it sounds and I wanted to know will putting a muffler on to quiet the groan loose turbo whistle

 

I don't know if the turbo will work on your motor since it elect. Controlled by the ecm. Is the turbo off another 2015?
And for the turbo whistle, you can take the intake tube off and see if it has a silencer ring, and remove it and see how that works.

 

Yeah I've taken out the intake baffle and one of my friends had a 14 and I know the 13-16s are the same and he was gonna trade his truck in for a 1500 and we did a intake swap he gave me his sb and I gave him my oem but the reason I'm looking at the cheetah is that a friend mentioned it I found a video of a 13 with the same setup in wanting to do here's the link https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NrcCV6u3bLA
Then after some more researching I found a 05 5.9 with the same turbo manifold but of course it's a 5.9 and it is wicked imo https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KHhwswmfvv4 and I'm sure it would work i hope I've asked a bunch of mechanics and they said it would work but I really enjoy the sound it makes off of the 5.9
