I am going to look at a 2006 Megacab 4x4 6spd with 90k miles. My previous truck was an 01 so the CR is a whole new animal to me plus being away from the game for several years. What do I want to keep an eye out for both with the truck and the drivetrain.

First thing is blow by! Remove the oil cap when it's running place it on the hole if it blows off walk away! Engine needs a rebuild! Check the clutch for slippage! Check the coolant color. Remove the radiator cap and look for bubbles in the coolant not a deal breaker but knock a couple thousand off for repairs!
Ask about any repairs like Injectors or ??
Any mods? Gauges, Programmer?
Good luck!

Thanks. There isn't much info on the website about it, then again this guy never does list a whole bunch of info about his trucks. I bought my 2001 off of him and with this one only having 90k on the clock it has my interest! plus the 6spd Megacab combo is a rare one.

also check the front end to make sure its not wore out. that can be spendy to fix. i would take the intake off and feel for play in the turbo.
