I have a Power Edge EZD1000D plug and go tuner with a 3 stage switch I bought from a 3rd party. After hooking it up when the switch is in the middle everything runs fine switch it up or down and the idle completely changes and not in the good way. I have plenty of air and everything on my end is solid. My biggest question I guess is this came off of a 2004 5.9 and i just bought a 2006 5.9 and from the research i did it should work with my year of truck. Am I wrong? When I give it gas its like a jet taking off and blacks out the sky.. I can't flip the switch and drive cause of how aggressive the acceleration is. Aggressive enough to where if almost feels like spray. Its only a 65hp 150lb tq max tuner. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it.

 

take it off your 2006 and put EFI live on it

 

Ditto! I was running EJWA and thought it was good- trash compared to EFI! Save your investment and give it a good proper tune, not a tune from a box

 

EFI's probably headed my way after smogging the Beast.
Smarty's been good to me but everyone embraces EFI so well. Time for an upgrade.
