1996 7.3 No start, blowing massive smoke HELP

When I try to start, it will turn over and try to start but won't. It blows alot of smoke that has the pungent aroma of raw diesel. Any ideas what can cause this??

My truck did the same thing when it was cold outside. Replaced all 8 glow plugs and it solved the problem.

Cold start

Had the same issue when temps dropped. Replaced Glow Plug relay and was good to go
