Hey everyone new member here. I had a questions for every one. I currently have a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT. only has 50300 miles on it. I put it up for sale and I had an offer to trade. The guy has a 04.5 2500 cummins quad cab. Only 172k miles. Here's what he claims he has done or upgraded to it...
" Has k&n cold air intake, bd intake manifold, ddp 62mm turbo pushn 42lbs, with ddp 90hp injectors, replaced head gasket with head studs, new 245 injector pump, rebuilt a/t, new smarty so6 pod tuner with up to 280hp gain with max tune just from tuner, 5in exhaust to dual 7in stacks.. Trucks pushing around 650hp.. With a fuel system and fully built race trans and exhaust manifold it should do low 11s if itd hook.. And gets 18-24mpg. New 305 mud claw tires on 20x10 moto metal wheels, has firestone airbag kit on rear also, has never had gooseneck ball but previous owner had fithwheel in it. "
He also states my tuner has a detune mode that makes the truck reduce power so no smoke to pass emissions. And he has a mbrp muffler for it to pass emissions.
How much would his truck be worth for re sale value? Im asking 23 for mine. Would his be a straight trade or should I ask for some cash as well? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

new 245 injector pump What the hell is this?! It has a CP3 unless he P pumped it but that's unlikely >>>Big money!
Is your car a SRT8? If it is it sells for about 19,000. If it's just a coupe it's around 16k
The truck is worth 20 easy I would do the trade!
get rid of the K&N Bad for diesels!

 

No idea what the 245 injector pump is man! I really know jack **** about diesels, I'm all about muscle cars. I have always wanted a cummins tho. My car is an RT So it has the 5.7 hemi. So if I got this car would maintenance be expensive since he has all those upgrades? And what CAI would you suggest?

 

I use S&B. Maintenance will be the same! Do a lot of reading in this section! Be sure to add a 2 micron fuel filter inline before the CP3 to keep your injectors alive! Read other forums too!
