I have an 05 4wd 3500 dually chassis. I pulled my motor out of a 2004.5 2wd 3500 dually to put into the 4wd.. swapped harnesses and tried to drop it in but it seems maybe the motor mounts are different between the two?? I have done a lot of cummins engine swaps but never has this issue. Please help any pics would be appreciated.

 

I've heard of this happening not sure why or for what application but there seem to be a few odd ***** out there! Just use the ones you got from your truck. All the engines are the same it's just the frame mount on a few trucks.

 

I have the original ones still on the block. (Don't have the ones that were in the 4wd.) I think one side is different.

 

Got it figured out. The driver side engine mount bracket is different than the 2wd.
