I was wondering if I could get some ideas on how to increase my fuel mileage. First time owning a cummins and I love the truck. I had read a post that someeone was using Amsoil fuel additive ane was getting over 700 miles to the tank. What is the avg. For a 1 gen cummins

combo city/hwy 19 straight hwy 21-23 1992 W250 extended cab auto pump turned up POD's 16cm housing and 4" exhaust. My 92 standard cab getrag 100% stock does better

 

Forgive my not knowing, but whatvie the POD 16Cm housing and from what point do you bring the 4" pipe

 

larger than stock Lucas fuel injectors, hence the prince of darkness nickname, 16square cm turbine housing for a quicker spool up and a 4" exhaust system from the turbine housing back and the injector pump turned up for more fuel. I doubt a oil additive is going to increase your mileage. Check your mileage at fill up.

i have a 90 w250 4x4 auto trans and 4:10 gears, lt285/75/16 grabber AT2 tires
I get 17 adverage

 

I lost mileage when my injector pump was rebuilt. Was hoping for better milage. Was 16 MPG
now its 12 MPG. Nothing else changed on the truck. Could it be the pump? They say no.
Searching for my MPGs.
