Hi, my 96 truck cracked a piston, I have spare motor but from a 99. Can I put it right in if I use the 96 harness? I see a bung in the valley, will a mechanical fuel pump go in there and work? I dont want to have to add electric fp. I do have another 95 motor but in a van yuk! Thanks

 

It can be used with the 96 harness. Depending if its a Early or late 99 you might have to swap turbo setups or intake plenums. You can not use a mechanical fuel pump on the 96 but an electric fuel pump is a better way to go.
