Default Exhaust cut off then hi idle issue

Okay I have a stock ram 2500 2011 and had took off the cats and put straight pipe, well it made my turbo spool really outta wack, and now it always hi idles, so I took to a place they said get it back on, took it back and put stock back on, all my dash lights went away, but still hi idles? What could be issue? Also the exhaust had double pipes in down pipe so I welded it fast to the other pipe? Was tht bad?

When you took the stock exhaust off did you have a tuner to shut off the codes to eliminate the DPF system?

did you weld with everything on the truck? that's a lot of juice to push through all the computers... did some low-power tack welding on my 97 a while back, and followed advice to disconnect and remove the batteries. turns out i shoulda pulled the ECM as well. tack-welding to the body cooked my ECM, even though it was on the opposite side of the engine compartment, bolted to the firewall.
