Finally broke down and took the truck in to have it tested after terrible gas Milage turns out all 6 injectors are bad and was quoted 3000 out the door for new Bosch injectors and labor, is this fair? And are these the injectors I should put in ?

 

Yeah sounds about right you can get two other quotes! The injectors are 2400 +
Be sure they get NEW ones not rebuilt! Also install a 2 micron filter BEFORE the CP3!

 

Would that not be hard on my cp3 causing it to work harder?

 

whats wrong with remans as long as their done by a reputable rebuilder ? I run a diablo programmer with 100gp air dog and have had no problems with injectors. but I run a quart of dextron through the tank once in a while.am i just lucky?

 

Good price! New ones are the way to go.

How many miles did you have before the injectors went out?

 

The filter is before the CP3 pump pressure is the same to the CP3 except you have cleaner fuel which leads to a lot longer injector life!

 

Stop using dextron BAD for injectors! Use 2 stroke oil one ounce per gallon for optimum lube!
