does anyone have any suggestions on witch kit works best

Sinister diesel is a good one....any filter is better than the shitty stock one same can be said about the common rail Cummins..do the cat filter and don't look back I think pure diesel power sells the sinister kit

I would like to know how many miles between injector when running a cat 2 micron filter.
