Hey guys, I'm doing a manual to auto swap on my truck. I'm going to be reusing my tcase so I have to change the input shaft. I've been at it for a few hours now and I can't for the life of me get this thing apart. I know that it comes apart from the rear to the front. I've removed all the bolts from the tail housing part and I can't get it to come loose. Is there a snap ring or something I'm missing? Or do I just need to beat it harder? Thanks guys.

That's a 241, do they come apart the same way? I've looked all over and can't find anything on disassembling and 271.

 

all I see for 271 is Ford
