Default looking to buy

I rolled my truck last weekend and am looking to step up to a big boy truck I hfound a 97 F350 with the 7.3 236k miles and new tranny rebuilt less then 100 miles ago anything special I need to watch out for this will be my first diesel so any help tips and trick are much needed

Glad your ok.
I would recomend taking off the intake to the turbo.And see if there is alot of play in the turbo impeller blade.
And check all fluids.Also i would recomend you tell them do NOT start the motor and warm it up before you arrive to inspect the truck, because when the motor is cold and you start it up. The way the motor runs can give you an indication if something is wrong or starting to go out.
