Default Chevy lift kit need help

Does anyone know where I can buy a 6" lift kit for my 2000 chevy k3500 crew ca long bed with a 6.5 td in it. It is 4x4 and has a double axel. I emailed a guy from super lift about their k274 lift an he said because it was a double axel I needed to make a drop braket for the carrier bearing but I would like to buy a lift that I can just put in with no hassle

No idea what double axle means?
Are you talking 2 piece driveshaft?

I would say you are on the right track talking to the kit vendors-best advice you are likely to find.

I assume you mean a two piece drive shaft? Anyway, you have to lower the carrier bearing to do more than a couple inches of suspension lift on that truck.

Yes I meant double drive shaft I was half asleep when I wrote this. I know I need to lower the carrier bearing now. Any ideas on how?
