raptor 100 pressure readings
I Recently purchased a 2002 24 valve with a raptor 100 lift pump on it with upgraded lines it came with autometer fuel pressure gauge. My question is what is a normal reading for fuel pressure when normal driving. My pressure reads 14 at idle and about 11 when doing 55 down the road but when I get into it I read about 10 is this normal for a raptor 100 pump don't know much about them. Thanks in advice
That a little low for what I like to see, but you are above the danger zone. Anything under 10psi at WOT is danger. I like to see about 18/19 idle, 16 cruise, and no less than 10 at WOT.
You can try adjusting the regulator to try and get a bit for out of it.

Do you think that adjusting that screw on the pump would bring it up anymore I'm thinking of just buying a raptor 150 or a fass titinum series pump to steer away from my VP being burned up.
You can try, just don't exceed 20 psi at idle. Increasing that regulator now could help prevent damage to your VP44 until you put a different fuel system on. The FASS systems are nice, and the added protection of the dual filters is great!
How many turns would that be you think to bump up the pressure the link you sent me said turn it clockwise but I don't want to exceed the 20 psi at idle.should I just turn it like a quarter turn each time and check it.
