I do 1oz 2stroke to every 1 gallon of diesel. truck seems to like it so far, but I wouldn't say I've seen life altering results. I'm currently using 2 stroke and the dieselkleen together.

The reason is mainly to bring some lubricity to the vp44, nobody else will see any monitary gain from the oil. If that vp gets hot due to lack of lubrication you will not be happy

I run it in my 6.0 PSD also. seems to help quiet the injectors. Some folks claim it helps with mileage. So far the only only thing I'm convinced helps is to go light on the skinny pedal

Stanadyne Performance formula is my brand of choice. I haven't had any problems with it in my 2001. I didn't notice a difference when I was using it, but that odd thank I didn't have any is when I noticed the differences. In my opinion, it's hard not to trust a company that makes fuel injection components, as well as a fuel conditioner.

As far as a real additive i has very impressed with XD3
Check it out, pretty crazy stuff. I use it in my truck, have never had a problem as of yet.

However my truck did gell last year with howes additive. the proper amount as well i may add. one of my buddies was raving about it. i wish i did not listen ! they say on the bottle to call for a free tow, i wish i could have, but it was in my driveway.
