Hey y'all. Got a question bout battery and check engine light. The guy I bought my 93 cummins from said he was having problems with the battery stayin charged and since I've owned it I've had to jump it twice. After I jumped it this morning the check engine light came on. Would that possibly be a battery problem??? I'm hoping that's all it is.

 

It could be a ba alternator or bad voltage regulator. Use a multimeter to check the voltage at the alternator ad voltage at the battery
