Fellow Diesel Bombers,

My lady and I are new to Diesels. Bought our 08 6.4 Super Duty as our daily driver and as our tow vehicle for the Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler we are looking for. According to carfax it was well maintained by the dealer, however it has alot of miles, pushing 250,000.

Any advice on what to expect and what to look for in a high mileage truck would be very much appreciated...

Well as all see on a lot of threads on here theres a few things u want to have been removed especially by that milage. if not all want to dress them right away!
Does you're truck have the DPF? Diesel Particle Filter, still installed (Do a quick search to see what to look for to tell if its still there) Second EGR coolers do you have em or are they already deltated?
Second Post up a bit more about you're truck. If it has any mods a programer etc, and some pics especially under the hood will help us see what you're working with. and most importantly congrats and enjoy you're new ride!
