Has there been a controller been invented or wire diagram for making one for a vgt turbo im going to be looking for one of these turbos in the near future and I would like to go electronic with it im sure there would be more tunning that would be available with going electronic and how does the exhaust brake work on those turbos

 

I am controlling mine with an arduino. Very simple set up. I'm unsure on the long term use of it but I've been using it everyday for a little longer than a month with no issues. Let me know if you'd like more info on it.

There's also a guy that sells a standalone controller that is just plug and play for around $500.

There's a link to the thread that has everything you'll need to control your turbo. Do you have any experience with wiring / computers / programming? I have 0 experience with programming but I'm very familiar with computers and it was quite simple for me to get everything working.

You're very welcome. This was the cheapest and simplest way I found to control the turbo. Theres a variety of options to control it (tps, boost, drive pressure, etc)

 

Ya I noticed so im gonna order what was on the parts list and when I get home im gonna download the mapping to my computer
