tune up??

I have a stock 1996 f250 7.3 auto besids the trans it has a stage 1 shift kit I'd like to get a little more boost and a little smoke out of it without spending a lot of cash anyone have any suggestions?

Smoke is for douche bags. Before you tune it your going to need gauges and at least exhaust but an intake will help too. Then you can get tuning which I would get a TS 6pos or a hydra with custom tuning.
