Default new truck mild build opinions

Picked up my first p pump truck 97 5 speed dually 2 wheel drive. Got it for 2500 and it still has original mufflers silencer ring etc. Very stock. I'm wanting to make a daily driver with fair power. I was thinking my he351 I already have, 4" down pipe to a stack, gauges, lift pump, either sliding the plate forward or getting a 100 or 10 not sure never mesesed with a p pump. I'll do a clutch if necessary but not looking to make this truck hold as much power as my other. Just maybe a solid 300. I drive 40 miles a day looking for mileage and tow power. I tow a lot. thanks just looking for opinions or any advice. I've messed with a few ve and vp trucks.

i would go for the #10 plate, the 100 plate is a really agressive plate. And you can do some pump adjustments also.
I would also recomend getting the kdp dealt with.(killer dowel pin)
