94 Chevy Blazer w/1991.5 cummins
I have a 1994 Chevy K5 Blazer with the IFS suspension. I was woundering if their would be any big or small things I need to do for the cummins swap. I know I have to change all the wiring and the motor mounts. I want to keep the 4L60E tranny in it or put a th400 (turbo 400) and I was thinking of putting the rear axle from the cummins under it so it can handle the power and torque from the motor. if theirs any thing I missed can you tell please thanks
I dont know how that will fit in there, the cummins is very tall you might have to do a body lift to close the hood. Also that motor weighs double or more then whatever was in there. i would solid axle swap the front and use a 14 bolt in the rear.
