Ok i need to add a tach signal for my 4l80e tcu. i have seen the ISSPRO R8912, but this wont work for a tach signal its only good for a tach that has two post. then theres the flywheel tach http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd129.htm i have a friend that can get me a little discount off the price and looks like my only option but i was wondering if anyone else found something that only uses one wire. also i cant remember right now but i dont think my alt has the "W" post for the tach signal

 

You can send it out and have it converted for the tach signal wire, as i recall it is only like 35 bucks to have it done.

 

we have a local alternator shop that might be able to do this.
