I have a 1993 with a bad turbo its nothing special just a driver. I thought about doing a hx35 conversion but a friend has a good turbo off of a 1994.5 6.5 is this a direct bolt in or is there something im missing. Anyhelp would be great

 

93 uses a gm3 turbo with a spring loaded manual wastegate and no vaccum pumps on 93 trucks 94s havegm4 turbos that are vaccum controlled by the wastegate via a vaccum pump. They will bolt on but would need to use your 93 wastegate system or a manual spring loade turbomaster wastegat in my opinion id opt for a hx35 with a boost valve set for 10-12 psi max theyre more efficient at high rpms and highway speeds than the gm series turbos.
