Question Falling out of 5th gear?
I just bought a 1990 First Gen W350 automatic converted to a 5spd manual. When i drive on the freeway it slips out of 5th gear. What does that mean? The transmission was rebuilt 3 months ago. Any ideas???

What trans? getrag or NV4500? if it is the getrag most likely the syncro, if the NV sounds like the 5th gear upgrade was not done and the nut has come loose.
