Need Help
I have a 1992 W250 that has the Banks sidwinder Kit dated from 90s the truck has the engine brake on it as well. My question maybe simple to some of you guys. what down pipe goes on it? i looked at it and it seems to be the connection points as the 2nd gen truck but maybe cut i got banks to send me the manual and it says cut to length. can someone verify?
yea i know on my other 93 it has a vband on the turbo.. on this this truck the pacbrake is connected to the turbo with a Vband and then the downpipe to the Pacbrake it has a 2bolt with a flange. like ive seen on 2nd gens.. I will take pictures in daylight. but its like this on the back of the Pacbrake
yea i had a 91.5 with on as well and it was Vband both ends this 92 has that configuration. not sure if something changed at banks. i will try to get pictures tomorrow.i know the banks kit was a 3" downpipe to muffler then after the muffler its 3.5" so i wanna put 4" turbo back. maybe a wash but maybe not. the original owner is a 92 year old man he said he got it done at dealer so he had some of the paper work, i also noticed this truck the kit has a retangle cut out of the factory air box and has a screen mounted on it. Banks remembers it and said it was all part of their kit from the 90s

Look's like a HX35 off a second gen and they didn't pull the extention pipe off .There is a V band clamp and then down below that there is the 2 bolt flange .But it also has exhaust brake so that is why sorry . should of looked at it better the first try.
