Default 12v cummins big power? Not here, HELP!!

Recently bought a 95 ram 2500 2wd, 4" turbo back, no muffler, and upgraded to, new bosch 215 injectors, 3000 gks. Number 10 fuel plate, 3/4 forward. Star wheel 3/4 forward. new lift pump stock. adjustable ofv, turned full closed to only 24 psi. before that stock ofv only 10 lbs. same with adjustable until adjusted to closed. Pinched off over flow line to check pressure, bottomed out gauge & had to turn motor off. What am I missing to get more power? People have said fuel pressure. If thats the case then why when pinched off did it go off the chart? HELP...

Have you changed the filter and cleaned the screen in the heater? You may have an air leak that is hampering you as well. There are some good articles on that topic out there. I am seeing my fuel drop to about 10-12psi when I get on it, but I have not done either of those and I know that the primer on my lift pump is leaking if I prime it, so that has to go. I am thinking of cutting the steel inner fender to get clear access to the pump and all the other goodies in there as opposed to fighting from top or bottom. Check those items if you have not and them proceed with the possible air leaks. Since my injector install, I have noticed better power and more smoke but I am still waiting on a turbo and do not want to do a lot of messing around with the tune on the fuel as I can control it with my right foot for now and I am sure I will have lots to play with once I get the turbo. I also find it easier to drop the fuel pressure, so I have been gentle on it. If the new LP I have fails to fix the issues, I am going to pull all the factory issue crap off and go electric I think, as I will be pushing the limits of the factory LP anyway.

the reason your fuel guage pegged out is cause you pinched it ... did it come down after a few seconds ?
You may have a bum Lift pump ... seem new ones that were no good several times .. had an 8.3 that we did 5or 6 in a month .. tow bills were freeking retarded ..

which way are you turning the star wheel ?
where is your timing ? IP timing that is ..
