Default F-800 ford Medium duty...biggest detroit that will fit?

Looking at an F-800 Ford, Early 80's, tilt nose truck. It currently has a gasser in it. If I buy it, I want to swap in a diesel, probably a 92 series Detroit 2 stroke. I am pretty sure I have seen them with 6V92's in them, but will an 8V92 fit?

Main reason I am asking, is there is an 8V92 Silver for sale for a grand, and that would be more power than the truck would need, but it is a good price, cheaper than I can buy a 6v at the moment.

Truck is a flatbed with ramps for hauling equipment. I don't have anything really heavy I want to haul, 12K is about the top on weight.

Cheers!

Very unlikely an 8V will fit. I'm thinking the 6V will be pretty dern tight. Those engine bays are not very big, for a truck.
