I just finishe a cummins swap in my 92 chevy that had a 6.5 and my fuel gauge was irratic but when it wasnt it was accurate well i noticed today tht the batch of wires tht connects to passrnger side firewall and distributes power to everything was sitting on downpipe n did get little hot n some wires were burned bare but ive tried tinkerin with em some n havent figured it out yet anyone know color of fuel gauge wire or would i be lookin for a ground problem ? Thanks

 

To be more specific it stays past full constantly key on off no matter what 3 o clock position
