Kinda a weird question but does anybody have the same truck as i do with a zf5 that can tell me the length of their rear dshaft? 91 cab.5 long bed 4x4. anybody have this setup? i wanna get my driveshaft extended asap. im thinkin it should be extended about 5 inches but that was a pretty rough measurement and i wanna be sure. thanks.

 

I have that exact truck sitting in my side yard right now that I am parting out. It's even the same year. I will get you a measurement tomorrow after work if no else beats me to it. It's late right now and I just got out of the shower.

It might be cheaper to have yours fixed then buy and ship mine. You may as well compare measurements first though to see if you have to do anything. These measurements were taken with the shaft on the truck. The front half of the drive shaft from joint center to center is 39.5", that is going through the carrier bearing. The front half of the shaft before the carrier bearing is 27" from the joint center to the collar before the carrier. The back half of the rear most part is 34" joint center to center.

 

How long is the zf, adapter and the Tcase ?

 

About 47", hard to get exact with everything being so curvy and surrounded by stuff.

 

I was looking into the 4 to 5 swap my self , and going back to 33's .. we shall see....
