Default Rough running/ code 0279

Out of nowhere the truck is running crazy rough(1996 F350 4 door 4wd). Auto eng scanner give 0279 code/ #7 inject voltage low on buzz test. Female valve cover harness plug on passenger side closest to bumper is missing a fin and the corresponding male part looks fractured/melted. I am assuming this is my problem. Do you folks agree? How hard is the fix? Anything else that I should look for. I am not the most experienced mechanic but I was able to change my fuel pump.

It couldn't hurt, but if it doesn't look bad I might be fine

I should have looked before I ordered parts. I took off the cover and I will need a gasket also. Riffraff was super quick with the harnesses and now I will order the gasket. The uvch was melted and the some of the pins in the gasket were melted/missing as were the male.

Got it done. Getting the VC back on was tough. Getting the bolts back in was a lot more difficult than I though it would be, especially at the dip stick holder.
