6.5 oil line issues

Default 6.5 oil line issues

doing a motor swap on my buddys 6.5 litre 2500 hd. the motor they brought me has different size threads on the oil lines than the block. and i cant use the oil lines that came with the motor because they route differently and are different threads on the cooler. anybody ever run into this before? thanks for the help.

The oil lines from the factory are junk and should not be re-used.

There is a known difference with the block fittings and is addressed with a replacement line and cooler kit from Lubruication Specialists or Leroy Diesel.

92-96 with some 97's have 3/8" block fittings while some 97's 98-2000 have 1/2" fittings.
