I have a few of the 6.4l powerstrokes all with the spartan programmer
I've been wanting to build the tranny in my daily driver, will this require me
To retune the transmission or will the spartan tunes I have in it right now work
The reason I ask is I put a built transmission in my 6.0 and it shifted way to
Hard with the custom tunes I was Runnin on my sct I had to have innovative
Redo them to soften up the shifts so it would brake my neck every time it shifts


Also been thinkin about work stock turbos?? Is there much difference between them
And stock turbos?

 

I have a custom built tranny from BTS. Awesome tranny doesnt shift to hard. send them your old one and they'll build it specifically how you want it and for what you'll be using it for. Another one to look at is one built from john woods.

 

I'm building my own with EDE kit called spartan there gonna send me new tunes for tranny

 

i still have the factory tranny, & i have a H & S XRT PRO, but i have it set at 80 HP

 

Mines shifting fine stock tranny I have 180000 miles on it on the 250 tune but bigger turbo I just put on it I'm wanting to turn it up and don't want this tranny failing
