Have 1996 F350 with just 99,000 miles. Had glow plugs replaced last year as it was getting hard to start without being plugged in and that seemed to fix everything now it wants to hiccup when idling and sometimes stalls out. Will do the same thing going through the gears and then when come to a light or stop sign sometimes it will die. Always starts right back up and runs fine for a while but does this at no regular time sometimes it runs great and doesn't do this at all and sometimes does it 4-5 times when I am out. Thinking it may be the injectors or would just simply replacing the fuel filter be a good start? Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

It almost sounds like your CPS. I would check there cause mine did the same thing when I first got it, and that's what it was.

 

Thanks 94 replaced the CPS and all seems like its good again.
