I have a 97 12 valve. It has the mechanical transfer case. I was recently looking at an 08 that has the electronic transfer case. How good is the reliability of the electronic versions?

I've had mine since new and had not problems with it. It can be a little finicky getting into 4lo but I've had similar pickyness with a manual transfer case. It's always done what I need.
