I have a 97 12 valve cummins 4x4 with an auto trans. I have the starwheel adjusted but i lost my place. The only egt trouble i have is on the freeway hauling a load at high rpm and boost. The afc housing is all the way forward and the fuel plate is all the way forward. if i back the fuel plate off a bit will it help get my egt's under control? Thanks

 

Yes it will,you should back off the star wheel a little also.
You should fill out your signature to let us know better what mods you've done to the truck.
And I would recommend an egt gauge if you don't have one installed yet.
