Default 95 2500 Front suspension

My 95 2500 has about 91,000 mi on it and the front end has a lot of play. I have new Cooper AT's (E range) at 50 PSI front. It runs pretty straight but seems to understeer (dives) more when turning right than left and there is a vagueness in the steering when running straight. (I have to move the steering wheel quite a bit left or right before the tires respond). Is the vagueness normal? I would assume shocks for the understeer problem. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Jack the truck up and look for play in your front end components. You may also have some play in the steering box

I agree you definitely got a issue with one or most of those components.
