Default 2012 turbo issues

Hello everyone, new to the site. I have a 2012 6.7 that I have done all deletes, running a Smarty Sr ME and 5" straight exhaust. I had a friend ask me about running without a muffler with the 5' exhaust. They said that there would not be enough back pressure and it would harm the turbo. Has enyone else heard this? if so should I be worried. Love the truck after deleting it. Thought about selling before I made that broad jump.

You don't need back pressure on a turbocharged engine.
