Default rebuilding front end and replacing steering column

I have a 97 f250 with a dana 60 front axle swap, i want to make sure i order the right parts to repuild the front end including all ball joints axle seals steering stabilizer etc. But i cant order vehicle specific i dont believe. I also have to replace my steering column at the same time and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get one and does it come with a steering shaft also? After all this is done i intend on making it a fummins

If you didn't do the swap yourself to figure out what the donor truck was, then look to see if the tag is still bolted onto the axle somewhere with it's ID mumbers. If not, then look at the casting numbers.

Most people used older Ford Dana 60's, as the frame rails where the same width, so they were pretty much a direct bolt in. But that wasn't always true... Other indicators would be if it has ball joints or king pins, the numbers off bearings and seals, etc.

I have no idea on steering columns. I have just used OBS tilt columns and those are the limits to my experience on those.
