injector question

I was wondering why the 215 injector has such a thin washer under them wouldn't that increase the timing just a hair or is that no enough to matter would it change anything if I put thin ones under any injector

It has nothing to do with timing , Its all about flame front and spray angle into the bowl on the piston ... change agle could make more or lees heat and or power ...
