I want to install a 7 pin trailer wiring harness with electric trailer brake controller. Does anyone know if someone sells a plug n play kit?

 

i put a trailer brake controller in a 94 a few years ago. spend the money and get a good controller (i've got the tekonsha voyager, and like it)and you'll need the pig tail that goes with it. it's pretty easy but you will have to wire it into the fuse box and i don't remember which one without looking. As for the seven way plug, all of the trucks i've ever had any dealings with already had one under the back bumper. If it doesn't they might even be stubbed off under the bed.

 

I put a brake controller on my truck a few months ago 96 dodge 2500 cummins there was a plug for it labeled brake controller under the dash kinda taped up you could no see it but you could feel it toward the back behind a box.

I can go look or take a pic if necessary.

my truck already had the plug for trailer lights.
