Just under Memphis 'Yall
NOT from here.. Joined to try and get away from the 'purists' of Mercedes diesels
Found a early 70's Mercedes 220d in a pull it that's ALL THERE! Even the key.
Looks like a 3/4spd manual also.
They said about 350-400 for the whole lot.. Prices have gone up i guess..
Wanted to pull the whole drivetrain and adapt into a mini truck and try to use a
Bio-diesel fuel source.
I had a 67 200d but it was that POOP brown with baby poop brown interior. Hurt back,
and lost storage and it went bye bye..
I've been messing with machinery and cars for over 30yrs, but never messed with Diesels much besides our tractors growing up.
If you have any info on Mercedes engines, PM me since I don't think It's right to post here.
ANYWHO, I'll be asking tons of questions regarding these engines. Just hope that after all, I can get her running out of the car..
