I recently have been having a slight issue with my trucks idle.

I have an Air Dog 100 on the truck and just had to replace the relay in the harness. I noticed after I ran the truck for a couple hours and got home to shut it off I noticed a funny sound in the idle. It almost is like a miss on a gasser. This has me puzzled, should I run some injector cleaner, check my sending unit, or is it something more serious?

 

IMO i always try the cheapest repairs 1st then if those dont work then move up to the more expensive repairs,but aye thats just meSo give the injector cleaner a try first,check fuel pressure,sending unit etc.

 

Check for loose or bad grounds.

 

I replaced the relay and it fixed the idle is back to a more normal rhythm. Thanks
