Default Lift, Suspension, Tires

Hey, I'm looking to have a wider stance for my truck. I want the tires to stick out 2-3" from the side of my truck. What do I need to do in order to achieve this? How big of a lift can I get away with to maintain this? Thanks for the help!

i will sell you my 33x15.5x16's they are wide. LOL i had to level the fron trim the cab and weld knuckle stops to run this wide of a tire and not rub.

That sounds like the tire he'd need to stick out that far too, unless he changes rims for a different backspacing/offset.

Did you have a lift with these tires you have? And I do want different rims than what I have now.

So if I were to put a 4" lift, I probably wouldn't have to worry about rubbing?

My current tires are 285/75R16. What would be the best for a wider width?

With a 4" lift you would have no problems rubbing 33's, but it would look funny. You would want to bump up to a 35" tire if you want to lift it 4". That is my 2 cents

yes your truck would look ridiculous with 33's and 4 inches of lift.

going wide has many draw backs

Yeah, I was actually looking at getting 35's with a 3-4" lift.

And will bigger tires fit my rims I have now? Or will have to get bigger rims as well?

what size wheel do you have? a 8-10'' wide wheel looks good with a 12.50
