I just bought a 2007 duramax lbz and I was thinking about getting efi live with the dsp5 switch. I want some tunes that are stock transmission safe until i have enough money for a built transmission. I'm looking for ideas on tunes and if efi live is the best way to go or if there are better tunes out there for the LBZ. Thanks!

 

Go with either ATP Trucks which is "Idaho Rob" or Duramaxtuner.com Both go hand in hand with eachother.

 

I went through synthetic motorsports and got my tunes from kory Willis. Kory, rob, nick, you can't really go wrong with any of them. Search DaJokrz on YouTube if you wanna see korys tunes on an lbz with just a lift pump. I run an optimized stock, heavy tow, 90hp, 150hp, and anti theft. It's a whole new truck with tuning.

 

heard only good things about Idaho Rob. he would be my first choice

 

where are you from? imo, by far the best way is to take it to who ever tunes it and have an actual custom tune done for the truck.
