I go into limp mode on the highway sometimes with no codes either. I never drive the truck hard but sometimes when the truck shifts from 6 to 5 or 4 to pass or go around someone it does it.

I have not tried to take the PPE out to see if it will still do it.

I am not sure, I have changed my filter 3 times with just over 15k on it so it would not seem like that would be the cause.

Is it limping the engine or tranny? Sounds like your getting a "tie-up". Change your filter first and see if it improves.

I usually just pull over, turn the truck off for 30 seconds and then it runs like normal. Now that I am thinking about it, mine did it before I got my PPE put on and I did that at around 1,200 miles.

I may not be tuner related.

If it limits you to 2000 RPM's its an engine limp. If it downshifts and locks into 3rd gear its a tranny limp. Its not unusual for it not to throw a code when you're running programmers or anything that can defeat what the ECM see's.
