Default Injector help

got some scheid built injectors from a scheid built truck my buddy owns there a 5x.018 injector. wondering if I can put them in my 98 12v 5 speed an still have the right fuel and if they will up the power a little. im running 370's now and want to get rid of them. I have a 66mm turbo 4k gov springs banks twin ram intake scheid laser cuts 60lb valve springs, and a dps 3 piece manifold. what are your guys opinions also no fuel plate in it. and when/if I install injectors ill be putting on a lift pump as well. what do u guys think I should be worried about if anything when doing the switch and how many hp you think ill put out. thanks for your input

I think he answered your question about what you should worry about.

too much injector for a street truck with a single 66 and full cuts. best bet is to find out some more info about them and put them up for sale

play with your afc, as for dv's I'm a big 191 fan but 024's will work also. injectors for what you have I would go with a 5x.014

First bit of advice...

Do go around insulting people because they offer you advice. turbo2332 works at a diesel shop and has a lot to offer.

How about some tuning to keep lower rpm/boost EGT in check?

Do you want a sled truck or a street driven truck?

Get some DV that are not going to haze and smoke clouds of unburnt fuel. Put your fuel plate back in, tighten your AFC springs or get stiffer ones.

Head work/cam
