cracked 7.3 powerstroke engine block
i have a 1996 7.3 powerstroke engine setting in my garage. i just pulled it from the wrecked truck about a month ago. right directly above the starter it has a hairline crack about half the length of the engine. it drips coolant pretty bad. i tried some stopleak in it before i pulled it from the truck and that didn't work so i was wandering if i could get y'alls input on what i could do without having to weld the block
forgot to mention the stage 3 rosewoods and the dual terminator hpop's. i will probably install these things on my 1995 f250

i wish that there where someway for me to fix the engine man i hate to scrap it cause it ran fantastic. last time it was dyno'd it had around 480hp/906ftlb

yep rosewood stage 3's. and yes when i had it dyno'd i also thought it was pretty low for the mods it had. i figured it would be alot higher than that

Stage 3 means nothing, are they 238s with a 80 or 100% nozzle or are they 250s with 100 or 200% nozzles? Makes a huge difference and an S475 is a huge turbo to be running as a single if your DDing it
My advice to you is to take it to an engine/machine shop with it completely stripped down, and cleaned up. And be prepared to hear 1 of 2 answers:
1: Nothin we can do.
2: well, it ain't gonna be cheap. . .
